4)All assignments must be completed neatly and ON TIME. If I do not consider an assignment to be done sufficiently it will not be accepted. NO ARGUMENTS!

After that, I will take it away and you may have it back at the end of class. If the problem persists the item will be taken and put in the main office safe to be picked up by your parents. POLICIES:
1)Tests/Quizzes count for 60% of your grade, HW 25% and CW 15% for a total of 100%.
2) Each student will be allowed one unexcused missed homework assignment per quarter. After that, each HW assignment will be worth 2 pts. If your HW is done properly you will receive the full 2 pts. If more effort was needed, you will receive 1 pt. If a HW is not done or is incomplete, you will receive 0 pts. Your final grade will be calculated as a percentage out of the total possible points. For example, 50 pts out of 50 pts = 100%. HW is due on the due date. No exceptions. You may NOT make up homework unless you were absent from school sick. If all homework assignments are completed at the end of the quarter the students’ lowest test/quiz grade will be dropped. All assignments can be found on my Google Classroom page.
3)Each student will be given a class participation and preparation grade. Each time a student is unprepared or otherwise unable or unwilling to participate in class, 1 pt will be deducted from their grade. Any time you do not have your chrome book with you when needed you will lose 1 pt.
4)In this class, the only difference between quizzes and tests is the length. Quizzes will be given at different benchmarks in a unit. All tests will be given at the end of an entire unit. All quizzes and tests in each unit are cumulative and they are waited the same toward your grade.
5)If you are absent for a Test/Quiz, you have three days from the time you return to school to make it up. If you do not make it up by then, it is a zero. Also, if you cut class on the day of a Test/Quiz you automatically get a zero on that Test/Quiz. No exceptions!
